Overview

The Client Portal allows you to securely communicate with clients, ask questions, collect documents, and review responses before updating your accounting system. Proper setup ensures a smooth experience for both your firm and your clients.

Firm Level

Firm-level settings apply across all clients and should be configured first.

Xenett supports white labeling so the client portal matches your firm’s brand. You can customize:

  • Client portal URL (custom domain)

  • From email address

  • Portal branding visuals

Cover Page Image

You can upload a custom cover image for the client portal.

  • This image appears on the client login page

  • It helps create a professional, branded experience

Firm Logo

Add your firm logo to reinforce branding across the portal.

  • The logo is visible to all clients

  • It appears alongside portal communications and pages

Note: White labeling is optional. If you don’t enable it, clients will see Xenett branding.

Email and Text Template Review

Xenett allows you to define firm-wide email and text templates used for client invitations, notifications, and reminders.

These templates ensure consistent communication and branding across all clients while allowing limited customization.

Configuration by navigating to: Settings → Templates → Email / Text

Client Level

Client-level settings are configured individually for each client.

Client users can be invited to the Xenett Client Portal directly from the client’s settings. During the invite process, you choose the client’s login method and send them an invitation to access the portal.

Auto-reminders control how and when clients are notified about pending questions. These reminders help keep client communication timely without overwhelming inboxes.
