Manage Users

Learn how to manage users in Xenett, including user roles, inviting and removing users, assigning client access, and configuring staff permissions

User Roles

First, let's understand what different user roles are available in Xenett.

  1. Super Admin - The Super Admin User Role has all the access as Admin User. This user originally signed up for Xenett and will have the right to cancel Xenett Service (which the admin user can't do).

  2. Admin - The Admin role has full access to all features and settings within Xenett, except the ability to cancel the Xenett service.

  3. Staff - Staff users do not have access to Firm Settings and Account Settings, but can access and use the Template feature.

Invite a user

To invite a new user, Go to Settings > Manager users > Add New User

Once invited, the user will receive an email to accept the invitation and set up the password.

When inviting a new user, you can also choose to assign the necessary clients access to Xenett.

Resend Invitation to User

If the user you invited hasn't received the email to set up their account, you can resend the invitation from the Manage User screen.

Assign Client File

Please click the Assign Client File button at the top right to assign a client file. From the pop-up, you can assign multiple client files to multiple users.

Delete a user

To delete a user:

  1. Go to Manage Users.

  2. Click the Delete option under the three dots next to the user's name.

  3. Confirm the deletion, and the user will be removed.

User Permissions

User Permissions allow firm administrators to control what staff users can access and edit within Xenett. These settings help prevent unintended changes and ensure staff members only modify what they are responsible for.

How to Access User Permissions

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Manage Users from the left menu.

  3. Open the Permissions tab.

Available Permission Options

Under the Permissions tab, you can enable or disable the following options:

  • Allow staff users to access template
Grants staff users access to manage and use templates.

  • Allow staff users to edit client properties
Allows staff to modify client-level properties (client custom fields).

  • Allow staff user to Create/Edit/Delete Project Sections
Enables staff to manage project sections, including adding new sections, editing existing ones, or removing them.

Important Notes

  • Changes apply to all staff users.

  • Only users with administrative access can modify these permissions.

  • Be cautious when allowing delete permissions, as removed sections cannot be recovered.
