Internal Comments in Xenett allow you to communicate with your internal team directly within the system. You can ask questions, share updates, and collaborate on specific transactions, tasks, or general topics that are not linked to any task or transaction.
Use Cases
Ask and Assign Question on any task, transaction or any general question
Leave a remarks, note or any observation
Avoid scattered communication across emails or chat tools
How to Add an Internal Comment
You can create internal comments in two ways.
Option 1: From a Task or Transaction
Open the relevant task or transaction
Click the comment icon on the task or transaction
Enter your message in the Internal Comments section
You can create two types of comments from a task:
Unassigned Comment (Note)
You can create a comment without assigning it to anyone
This is treated as a normal comment or note
It is visible only within that specific task or transaction
The comment does not appear in the General Comments section
Assigned Comment (Trackable Comment)
It becomes trackable with a status
It appears in the General Comments section
The status can be updated from both the task and General Comments
The comment includes a link to the original task or transaction in the General Comment section
Clicking the link redirects you to the source task or transaction
Option 2: From the General Comments Section
Navigate to the General Comments section
Click Add Comment
Write your message
Assign the comment to a team member (required)
⚠️ Important: A General Comment cannot be created unless at least one team member is assigned.
General comments are best for discussions that are not tied to a specific task or transaction.
Viewing and Responding to Comments
Comments can be viewed in:
The related task or transaction
The General Comments section (assigned comments only)
From a comment, you can:
Reply to the comment
React to the comment
Update the comment status (only for assigned comments)
Pinning Rules
By default, the most recent comment appears in the comment listing column
You can pin a comment to keep it consistently associated with a task or recurring task
Pinned comments appear at the top of the comment section
Pinned comments also appear at the top of the comment listing column, instead of the latest comment
A pinned comment remains visible until it is manually unpinned
