How to Interpret the Review Results

When you open this review, you’ll see a list of transactions that were recorded without a name.

  • Each transaction requires a vendor, customer, or employee to be assigned

  • Transactions with the same memo are grouped together to simplify review

  • Suggested names may appear based on historical transaction patterns

If a transaction appears here, it means it needs attention before your records are complete.

Recommended Actions

Based on the review results, you can:

  • Assign missing names to individual transactions

  • Perform bulk updates for transactions with similar memos

  • Use or override smart name suggestions

  • Exclude transaction types or accounts that do not require name tracking

How the Review Works

Step 1: Open the Review Point

Click on the Entries Without Name review point to see a list of all transactions that are missing a name.

Step 2: Assign Names to Transactions

  • Click on any transaction and assign the appropriate vendor or customer name

  • Changes are saved automatically

Based on historical transactions, Xenett also suggests the most likely vendor or customer name for each entry. These suggestions help speed up the assignment and reduce manual effort.

Tip: Smart Suggestions
Xenett’s suggestions are optional and fully editable. You can accept the suggested name, change it, or assign a different vendor or customer if needed.

Xenett groups transactions using the memo field, so transactions with the same memo appear together.

Step 3: Bulk Assign Names

  • Select multiple transactions with the same memo

  • Use the bulk panel to assign a name to all selected transactions at once

This significantly speeds up the assignment process.
