Play / Pause Project Recurrence
Sometimes, a recurring project runs like clockwork—until it doesn’t. Maybe the client wants to pause work, or priorities shift. But your project keeps trying to repeat on its usual schedule.
You don’t have to let it run when it’s not needed. You can pause the project, then resume it later when the time is right.
Where to Find It
The Action column appears in the project listing.
Click the three-dot (⋯) menu to pause or resume recurrence.
When a Project Is Paused
The project will stop recurring from that point onward.
No new recurring projects will be generated.
The recurrence remains paused until manually resumed.
When a Project Is Resumed
A popup will appear with:
details of the recurrence being resumed, and
a list of recurrences skipped during the pause so you can choose which ones to create.
Click Resume to resume recurrence and generate the selected skipped projects.
Create Next Project Now (Manual Generation)
You can manually generate the next recurring project before its scheduled recur date
Use Cases
When work needs to start earlier than the scheduled recurrence date.
