Overview
The Bookkeeping Dashboard is available as a tab inside the Client List module. It shows all bank accounts across your connected client files, grouped by client, with real-time bank feed status and reconciliation data.
Setting up data sync
Before your dashboard shows any data, the browser extension needs to capture information from each client file.
Make sure the Xenett browser extension is installed in your browser.
Log in to QuickBooks Online and open each client file at least once. You only need to do this one time per client file.
Once you've visited all client files under a QBO console, any future visit to any one client file in that console will automatically sync data for all clients in that console.
If you have clients across multiple QBO consoles, you'll need to visit at least one client file from each console to trigger a sync for that group.
Viewing the dashboard
Go to the Client List module and click the Bookkeeping Dashboard tab.
The table shows all bank accounts grouped by client. Click the arrow next to a client name to expand or collapse their accounts.
Each row shows the Account Name, Reco Status (the date through which the account is reconciled), Pending Transactions, and Bank Feed status.
Understanding bank feed statuses
Connected — the bank feed is active and working
Broken — the feed was connected but the connection has since broken and needs attention
Not Connected — the bank feed has never been set up for this account
Checking data freshness
Each client group shows a timestamp next to the client name indicating when the data was last synced for that console. Since clients under different QBO consoles sync independently, timestamps may differ across groups.
Searching and exporting
Use the Search bar to filter by client name or account name.
Click Export Excel to download the full table as a spreadsheet.
