Overview
By default in Xenett, any user in a project can change the status of any task—even if the task is not assigned to them.
If you want to restrict the status changes by assignee, then this feature will be helpful.
How to Enable Restrict Task Status
Follow these steps to activate the feature:
Open Settings
Click Project Settings
Go to Task Settings
Enable Restrict Task Status
Once enabled, the setting applies to the entire firm.
How It Works After Activation
Only users assigned to a task can change its status
Users who are not assignees will not be able to update the task status
Admins users will still be able to change the tasks status even when they are not set as assignees.
